Just graduated from school and i'm overdue for a cleaning, checkup, and new glasses. I am fully covered by insurance and can check with my provider (Delta Dental) to see who is and who isn't within the system. My only question is how do I choose who to go to? Also, I will be moving around a lot (every year or two) for the job so I'd prefer to pick right the first time.

How should I go around finding a physician, dentist, and optometrist?

1: Call your insurance company found on the insurance card.
2: This is 2010. They have websites and 'find a doctor' search complete with how much you're covered by them.

Ask your coworkers who they use and if they like them.

I'm lucky enough to still live close enough to where I grew up and spent the summers during school, so I am just sticking to what I'm used to. All my doctors are on the list for my blue cross coverage.

Word of mouth is a good way to find a dentist. Doctors more or less the same but there is more information out there on them that you can research.

I don't know about where you live, but as expensive as they are, you'd think it would be easier to get an appointment that isn't 3 weeks out.
