They could so easily have 6 team playoff.

Teams ranked 1 and 2 get a bye.

3 and 6 and 4 and 5 play in the first round (2 BCS bowls of the Rose, Sugar, Fiesta, Orange)

Then the next week they have 2 more games (the other 2 BCS Bowls)

Then the week after that they have the BCS Championship.

The 4 major bowls rotate what round they're in from one year to the next.

No byes. Thats just retarded.

8 teams, 6 conference chamipons + 2 at large. Play in the four Major Bowls. Then those winners play, then the winners of those two games play.

Wisconsin should start bitching and moaning about the BCS. They got screwed, they knew they would get screwed, but they still got screwed. A playoff system wouldnt have helped them, but it just shows how unfair the BCS system is.

Meyer said before the FSU game that if UF wins out the system needs to be changed asap as he'd compare Florida's wins with anyone out there. He's been against the style points attribute in the BCS the whole season. If that's what Carr was refering too I don't know about anything else...seems like not only the fans are losers...

Heh, good luck. From my understanding most universities only set aside 1000-1500 student tickets for a BCS Bowl Game. USC was only going to set aside 1150. I believe Ohio is setting aside a smiliar amount. BCS Bowl tickets go to pay back the huge donors/boosters/season ticket holders.

normally the school will receive a certian number of tickets for their bowl game (around 15000 or so), and they will divide them up, usually like 2 thousand or so going to students who bought season tickets, and they are distributed in a lottery system.

So if you didnt buy season ticekts, you cant even have a chance at those, and you'll have to spring for a several thousand dollar package from somewhere online...

That could work too, but I didn't want to add any extra games to the current 5 BCS games. With your system, there would be 7 games. I'm ok with that. What do we call the 2 games in the 2nd round?

And yes I'm a Wisconsin fan, and am plssed off.

Season tickets are for alums. Students a most univerisities get into home games for free(via student fees on tuition) and away games at reduced prices. Ohio had 6000 students enter the lottery for the 1000 tickets they set aside for the title game. And even then the tickets are $150 a pop.

UF students pay for tickets...it's about $60 for season student tickets to all home games.

It will be pure luck, as it will be a lottery to be "fair".

what else are you going to cry about? Meyer didn't lobby, he simply states the facts.

Again, your team lost 2 weeks ago, History cannot be rewritten.
GET OVER IT, and get ready for USC.
You are in the bowl that thousands agreed you were qualified to be in.

but the only people eligible for those 1000 tickets were those students who paid for season tickets (the reduced rate, home game tickets for the student section...)

I hope they would do it this way - a lottery for the NC tickets. I already see the retarded administrators that we have here just doing it first come first serve over the phone as usual and the lines being jammed again...$150 is not that much for a NC game you're probably looking at those prices going past $500 on Ebay.
