QFT

Neither FL nor Michigan are worthy of playing OSU, they both are overrated. Who is better? Flip a freaking coin... that being said, rematches are L-A-M-E, ask Jim Tressela about that.

Yup and the fact that Wisconsin do not have any superstars to attract TV ratings and they played a cupcake schedule. Their biggest wins were Penn State (23) and Minnesota (37), lol. They've proven nothing.

Michigan vs Florida.

Conference win = Florida.
Schedule Strength = Florida.
Team that didn't already play OSU = Florida.
Conference Strength = SEC>Big-10 = Florida.

Defense = Michigan
Offense = Michigan
Teams that didn't lose to Auburn = Michigan

And if you used the same numbers that were used in the BCS to determine schedule strength until 2003, Michigan would have the edge.

Easy to have a better offense and defense (statistically) than Florida when you play in the Big-10. The Big-10 is usually a much better conference.

Not so good this year? I guess 3 teams in the BCS top 6 or 7 isn't that good... uh yeah.

The fact of the matter is that even if Wisconsin were to become an automatic qualifier (6 or higher in final rankings) they still could not be picked. All money related.

There should never be a rematch in NCAA football.

It is disgusting and WILL bring down the whole college football market.

Michigan had their shot and blew it very early in the game (VERY early).

But having Michigan sit back and do nothing this week and still getting a shot at the national champ game against a team they already lost to is just phucking horrendous.

boohoo, michigan lost a coach that hasn't worked in years..... it's no reason for them to play the same team again in the (sorry for the caps, but it's that important) THE NATIONAL PHUCKING CHAMPIONSHIP.

You don't get a rematch in the most important game of the season.

michigan sympathizers might as well live like they get handouts to get by.... phuckign hobos.

So Michigan lost by 3 points and somehow they were out of the game from the beginning? I see. Make no mistake. Michigan lost by 3 point AWAY AT THEIR ARCH RIVALS. Thats a statisical tie! Now go back to your fema trailor.

Wow, fema trailor?

Don't know where to start with that one.... the racist part or the complete lack of knowledge about gainesville, florida. GG tard.

And michigan was down bigtime throughout the majority of their game. They still lost and didn't lose their rank position. It's total BS and shows how the system doesn't work.

A "statistical tie?"... that is just plain stupid.

Heading back to my trailor now.... not trailer.

The difference is. Michigan WALKED all over their opponents except for OSU who they lost to by 3 points on the road. Florida, on the other hand, struggled all season to get their current record, just like they displayed in Saturdays game against Arkansas.

I've read your college football posts over the last few months and have come to conclude that you don't know a goddamned thing about it, at all.

Michigan obviously isn't worthy of playing OSU, as they only lost by THREE in COLUMBUS. They can't hang.

Rematches are L-A-M-E, because storylines should choose the National Championship game, forget finding out who the best team in America about that.

Michigan is the only team in the nation that will give tOSU a game in the NC game. The Bucks will absolutely shred Florida if they play, especially if the Gators' D plays like it did last night against Arkansas.

Michigan would beat Florida if the two teams played, and Ohio State will more than beat Florida. It's going to be a waste of a very good national championship matchup (tOSU/Michigan), because CBS gave the Gators a major handjob last night to ensure that their cashmaking conference would make the NC game.

We'll just wait and see, but mark my words, if Florida gets in, they will get dominated.

Florida will get destroyed, they were sooo lucky so often this year and won't have that luck against OSU.

such would be the fate of any team this year. michigan already proved they cannot hang with a sloppy OSU, USC didn't have the strength, and nor does Florida. But Florida deserves it, regardless of true team strength, based on schedule.

Good lord. Does anyone even have a desire to watch the Orange or Fiesta if the predictions from that LA Times article are correct?

I'd love to see boise state beat OK. That'd shut stoops up about the officials earlier this season.

It's okay. I'm sure they would rather be in a BCS bowl after McFadden runs all over them. ;)

My prediction: OSU kills Florida, Michigan kills USC, Michigan finishes season ranked #2 behind OSU.

Isn't that what Michigan fans are saying right now, they're #2 and should be in the title game?

You were never in the game against OSU, OSU had full control of that game. Score doesn't always tell it all...

Also the UF defense played bad last night? What game were you watching...?
