Enter the matrix keeps kickin me back to desktop

i dont know how long this game is but i believe i'm somewhere about half way through. during the first half til now the game has been running pretty stable. but when i got the the part with the freeway chase to help out morpheus, the game continually kicks me back out to the desktop with no error messages, nothing. i tried running it in safe mode and still the same thing. i dont think it's a video driver issue since the game ran fine halfway through. i just wanted some suggestions before i resorted to uninstalling and reinstalling it.

i don't have the game, etm.. however, i've had similar situations happened to me in other games as well.. whenever i encountered this problem, it's either i'm running low on virtual memories or physical memories.. either way, it might be a memory issue.. what you can do is either increase your virtual memory or get more physical ram.. it it's not memory releted, it might be a bad installation.. hope this helps..

try getting the patch and see if that helps, i think it fixes a bug that was booting some people out to desktop, i used and it worked for me, and yeah u are about halfway through actually a little but more, u playing as ghost or Niobe?

it's trying to do you a favor! 😉😀😀
😀

the desktop is the best camera angle for that game 😛

and yea jvang125: I've had some games do that too. Alot of times it was a corrupt file that the game would access at a certain point in the game and crash. Reinstall fixed it for me. Other times the game can ask for an object that may not be there, usually a missing file or a patch is needed so the game doesn't request that file.
