Enter The Matrix for Xbox...worth $25 or not?

Hopped on the Toy's R Us two for one deal yesterday. Nabbed NBA Streets and Enter The Matrix. I can return EtM for $25 and get NBA Streets effectively for $25 which is a decent deal.

I've heard mixed reviews on it. Some say it's great, other says it's overhyped tripe. Just return it, or play it, beat it, and hock it for $15 when I'm done?

Or, return it and get Midnight Club II or Hulk instead? But I hear that both those games blow as well though. 😕

It's a mediocre game with some decent content. Matrix completists like it since it fills in backstory that wasn't elaborated in Reloaded, but the trick is you actually have to play through the game to see it, and some people can't be bothered.

Honestly...one of the main reasons I nabbed it was to see what a 1080i game looked like on my new 50" HDTV 😱

i just started playing.... had it for a while, never had the free time.

Some of it is tedious.... just hack the system for 'infinite health' .. play thru without having to worry about dying.

That game was such garbage.

The only reason I played it was to see the cutscenes. Rent it, cheat your way through it to see them, and bring it back.

I rented Enter The Matrix for GameCube about a month ago. What I played of it wasn't too bad, IMHO....

from what i played of it, i thought it sucked and would only take a copy for free(which in turn i would trade for a game worthy of my time)

It's not that bad. People here are VERY critical and hard-core gamers.

I do agree, howver, that you should cheat with infinite life to make the game less frsutrating and to see all the special stuff.
