Enough space for NB Heatsink?

Like you, the chipset fan on my Neo2 has been driving me crazy. It has simular(sp) chipset to graphics card locations.

I just got the 700-cu to replace the ati silencer that was on my X800XT. There was no way to fit the 47J with the silencer. I have had a ZM-NB47J for a year and finally got to try it out.

My first attempt: The 47J won't fit with the 700-cu BUT by cutting a few pins it fits perfectly.

Problem: I removed the wrong row of pins 😀 I'm picking up another 47J tonight and I'm giving it another go tomorow.

Even thou I'm not finished yet, I know the 47J with minor mods ie. shortening 5 or 6 pins will fit the neo2. I looked at some pictures on the egg of the Neo4 plat and I think it would work for that board too. The 47J is cheap, you might want to give it a shot.
