Enough power to run the 1900xt?

18A on the 12V line. Very risky, probably not.

Why skimp on the PSU after spending $400+ on the video card?

Consider spending at least $100 for a quality PSU with at least 25A@12V. Also probably a good idea to stay away from dual-rail PSUs.

what happens if it isnt enough? Will it dmg something?
 
Geez that psu has as much amperage on the 12v rail as my 350watt one.
Only a matter of time before we see 20 dollar 1000watt psu's with 20amps on the 12v rail and 200amps on the 5volt... some people will fall for it.
