Greets,
I have the EN-72370X3 and am not exactly sure how I should arrange things for proper airflow. I am also wondering if I should put in exterior fan filters on the intake fans (I once read an article about using tightly stretched pantyhose as fan filters, which seemed to be a pretty good idea - I also have quite a bit of the stiff foam type filter material used in air conditioner filters). The system is for a friend who I figure will never open the case and clean things out, so I'd like to prevent excessive dust buildup.
The case comes with a front, low mounted fan which is an intake fan.
The powersupply seems to be an exhaust fan, but very airflow compared to other fans I have in the system.
I mounted an 80mm rear fan which is an intake fan - this blows almost directly to the HSF.
The HSF is a Globalwin CAK-38 with a 6800rpm Delta fan (loud) with the fan blowing down onto the HS.
I think things are in the right configuration, giving me a little bit of positive air pressure. The CPU, a Duron 900 runs at 37C, 98F at idle speed (ambient air is 73F) - this seems to be a pretty safe temperature range to me, am I wrong?
My only complaint about this case is that removing the faceplate a few times I managed to snap one of the retaining clips on the floppy faceplace. Irritating, it shouldn't be that tight of a fit
