Enlight 7237 Case w/340W PS from newegg.com-- I got a problem!

I ordered this case

"Enlight Medium Tower P4 Case Model EN-7237AZ with 340Watts Power Supply, 4 5.25" Bays and 2 3.5" Bays for my system."

I know it says P4 but it is the same as the enlight 7237, but with a 340W PS, instead of a 300W. However, I looked at my PSU, and saw a 300W label on there. I verified this by searching on the net for this model number, HPC-300-101. I found it on this website:

http://www.hansansystems.com/High Power PS.htm

Yes indeed, it is a 300W PS. So...what should I do, they sent me the wrong PS. Also, on that site it says up to 1.33ghz athlon support..will it not work. I know that Id be fine with a 300W PSU, so 340W is fine right. Also, what should I say to newegg.com about the mixup of parts...

thanks!

yes athlon chips will work, and you request an rma from them, there should be a link somewhere on their website.

Call them up, and tell them you got the wrong product. Newegg usually is nice enough to exchange it for you.

There is a cases and cooling forum 🙂.

But...
If they sent the wrong PS, call them up, complain, and get them to send the new PS (sending the old one back, of course -- cross shipping is nice)

dude- don't buy from Hansanssystems- the guy is a shady forum spammer and he has a really bad reseller rating (not that you were going to but i have to pass on the warning)

you have been warned - i have seen complaints in other forums about this guy too

(ok rant finished) Newegg will happily help you out and replace the Psu
