I just found out today that if you have the Enlight 7237 case, be sure to remove one of mounting pins on the motherboard plate (specifically the one right underneath the keyboard controller). This extra mounting pin is for a different format board than the Athlon/Duron boards (particularly the MSI k7t-Pro varieties). So, if you count 7 pins on the plate, but only have 6 holes in the motherboard, be sure to remove one.

I don't think the short is permanent, so you should be okay to remove the pin if you've already set things up with it in.

I just hope this solves my problem. Kept getting keyboard controller initialization failure and no POST. I'll update shortly.

Hope that solves your problem chexi, and I always check the mounting screw pattern on a new board install.

Gosh! Thanks for the info! I've got a K7T Pro2-A that's been running for 2 weeks outside of a 7237 (haven't mounted it since I want to mod the case).

I've marked the standoff (that's what I'm assuming you're talking about?), so that I can remove it before I do mount it.

Unfortunately, I have a defective motherboard. But, the word of warning still stands. I talked to a reseller who sells the MSI and enlight cases, and he has encountered the keyboard initialization problem frequently. Removal of the extra post solves the problem, but if that extra post is in, you stand a good chance of temporarily shorting the keyboard controller and failing to POST.
