Enlight 7237 any good? Do I need 300 W?

I'm thinking it's time to upgrade that old HP Vectra of mine, or rather give it a total overhaul. I have decided to go the AMD way and buy a Duron 700, but I haven't figured out what case to get. What are your opinions on the Enlight 7237, is it any good (as good as it gets for a cheap standard case that is)? What about the power supply, at the moment I have a RIVA TNT2 Ultra video card and a 250W supply should suffice to power both a Duron 700 and the card (I think). But it's likely I will upgrade both processor and video card in the future. So should I get a case with a 300W power supply now, and are there any Miditower cases at reasonable prices that come with 300W supplies? What about cooling, can the Enlight 7237 handle an overclocked Athlon and a Geforce 2 card for example?

to be safe I would get a 300W ATX PSU.
but that only if you are going to overclock your PC system and include all those peripherals.

IMHO, Enlight cases are great. I recently handed down an Enlight 6680 to the wife and upgraded to an Enlight 7237 with a 300Watt power supply for a Duron/KT7 combo. At present my Duron 700 runs stable at 1083MHz.

they have the enlight cases without PS at onvia. Here

Then I would pick up an enermax 350 whisper power supply from eb@y. They have these on eb@y that sell for around 50$. Much cheaper then anywhere else. These babies are nice. Just do a search for "enermax" at eb@y.

i built three systems using the 7237. i like them a lot. as long as i don't get too lazy for case mods and buy a tornado 1000 or something, my next system will have a 7237 house it as well.

I've tried both the Enligh 7237 and the Inwin S500. In my opinion, the S500 is much better just because it's easier to access the inside. You don't HAVE to pull off the bezel and can just slide off the side instead. I've had problems lining up the drives with the edges of side of the case with the enlight.

Anyway, just my thoughts on the Enlight versus the Inwin.

Agree with Chatterjee, the s500 feels a bit more solid than the 7237, not as good as the enlight if you're into serious modding though.

Here's an interesting casehttp://phamcomputer.safeshopper.com/17/77.htm?955. Never heard of Avance cases but it seems to have a lot of nice features. Don't know too much about the store either but they offer 4 dollar shipping for cases so it might be worth looking into

i like the case.

it's great for something that costs 2x as much.

i ordered mine from onvia without a PS.

order a quality PS if you want, or a medium quality one.

that enlight 7327 is a darn nice case for 30.00, I just got one from onvia and have another , very easy to mod if needed, and this newer one i just got has removable sides, fan in front and another vent right behind the cpu for another, with large vents on the left hand side for more air. This is a very nice case period, and especially so for the price. Roomy too 4-5.5 and 3-3.5. I would definitely get a 300 watt PS or even an enermax 350/400. You may want to upgrade in the future.

I have 4 Enlight 7237 Cases 2-250 and 2-300 all 4 rock! You might want to drill out the front panel holes to 1/4 for better intake flow other then that Excellent cases!

You can go to AMD site and it will tell you which Enlight 7237 250Watt support AMD products.

Enlight cases are brilliant! I've used 2 to date and both have been great. Temps are good too on Enlights. Get it!
