Enkei Rpf1

These wheels are relatively light for the price. Any have good experience with them? I can get them at wholesale and was thinking about getting an extra set of wheels for my car

I think they look best on an F1 car!

Seriously, I'm sure the quality is good, and if you can get a good deal and like the looks, I see no reason not to get them.

That's exactly what I was going to get for my MR2 until I ran into a good deal on a set of Mille Miglia MMIIs. If I could get a good enough price, I'd consider a set. I have no direct experience, but plenty of MR2 guys run them and they seem happy.

They are a bit narrow which limits tire sizes, but if you don't mind that they are great. I've had them for 2 years as a summer/track setup on my GTI.

I heart my enkeis. They don't have enough clearence for some of the bigger brake kits in the wider sizes though

What, you don't want Rotas? 😛

Or I guess you're not baller enough for Volks 😉

I have Rota Torques as my winter wheels on my E90, and I kind of dislike that design for the same reason I don't really like the RPF1 - too much open space, so the car looks sort of flabby unless it is a really lean, spartan design (like brainhulk's S2000, which looks great).

I was looking at these for my integra, but ended up going with Konig Heliums instead, I just didn't think they looked that good on that particular car.

I do like how they look though, but what drew me in initially was the weight.

But the worst look is when you have "visible" brakes that are entirely too small. For example, running 18" wheels with stock Civic brakes.

I admit to doing this years ago on a previous car but now days I wouldn't do it.

Quite a few people I know run them on the track or autox. I wanted a set for my track wheels, but found a better deal/setup where I didn't need to use spacers to make them work right.

Get them OP. I love the look and quality of the RPF1s.

I have this issue especially in the rear but it doesn't look too bad. I ain't jumping to 19" rotors just for looks.

Enkei is the OEM for Infiniti as well but I have aftermarket RPF1 wannabees now. 😉

Those are fine IMHO.

I had 11" rotors in 17" wheels on my old Accord...looked only slightly better than the Civic I posted.
