This is a SFF desktop. It came with the AMD E2-6110 APU. It features two expansion slots: (1) PCIe x16 and (1) PCIe x1. The E2-6110 features a Puma micro-architecture/Beema core. A few of these were integrated into desktop computers. I was just given one.

Video is where I need the improvement. In fact, the LCD that came with this computer is not even 1080p... I own a PCIe 2.0 card yet, it is too large, unless I decide to transplate the contents of the box into a different case. Maybe this is the best option.
What about the low-profile video cards. They are affordable yet, appear lacking so, this give me cause for concern with regard to a desirable end result.
My goal is to be able to play DVDs (VLC Media Player) and stream movies, PBS and sporting events.
Suggestions?
