Hi,

I'm looking for a way of explaining some terms in English. So I need some help in here ...

Let's say I live in a building, 3 stores high. Each store has 2 homes, which makes a total of 6 homes in my building.

So my building is the "Property" right? It doesn't move :)

Now what are the name of each of the 6 parts? Which term shall I use? The "owner"? But the home may have a new "owner", so I can say that over time, a home had 2 "owners", what is the term for home in this context?

The sum of all can be referred to as the "Condominium"? Which has specific legal rules on how to be administered.

The objective is to start the analysis of a software project for a condominium maintenance.

Thanks.

silly answer:

I would call them little boxes, all the same.

my opinion on the matter:

Property would refer to land and the structure built on top of it.

The units themselves would have owners and can be referred to as condominium which exist in a condominium (the sum of all the units).

The term owners would usually refer to the unit /condominium owners while the property owner owuld refer to the owner of the land and personal responsible for the structure itself and applicable public works etc.
