English paper help

What's the best way of say, "He was their b1tch."? But appropriate enough for an English mid-term...

i think for most of my english profs, it would have been acceptable to phrase it that way

Yea, except my english teacher is an anal bitch. I just can't think of the best way to phrase this...

EDIT: He was at their mercy? That's the best I got right now..

I'm afraid you're so below my level (I am the God of English, you see) that a sentence I give you will seem out of place in your paper. However, you could go with something like: He was at all times at their beck and call, pathetic and servile.

Heh i know what you mean, I used to use words my English teacher in HS didnt know.... usually they take offense to that for some reason and give the paper a lower grade
