I dont know where to post this. So I post it here. I hope a moderator or some English expert will give me correct answer. I am really confused about which one is the correct sentence?
1 Which one is correct?
a. She is beautiful.
b. She was beautiful.
2 Which one is correct?
a. They are cool.
b. They were cool.
If both a and b are correct, then why do we have to use is or was / are or were if we only need one?
