[rant]Well, im supposed to have a relativley short (3 page) essay done by tommorow, ready to hand in, at 7 in the morning--on the dot. Now it wouldnt be so hard to do for length but I'm expected to, rather, its required to cite sources, one being The Grapes of Wrath which is no biggie, ive got the damn book right here, and another .... some stupid essay by this guy named Peter Lisca or something. THats the problem
a 'friend' has the fokkin essay! :| In addition to the essay that i have only partially done because there are no sources and I couldnt go on without citing any, but I have 2 chapters in some skinny little book (that happens to have incredibly and unrealistically long chapters anyway) that I am supposed to have read and studied, and prepared to have 12 questions on them in the morning. Welllll naaah. Doesnt seem like thats happened either because all of today was devoted to other bullsh1t related to that stupid class. read: essay. The only thing i feel partially confident in is the third part of the final, it is a letter to an "incoming student", written as a graduate of the class (ha) explaining (warning) them of what lies ahead...I could go onnn and ooonnn about all the stuff we did in that class but even if i get that part aced and down pat for the final I still wont pass the bloody class. Here is what the grading scale looks like, pretty fair if you ask me but Im screwed in either case:
"Based on a 6 point scale because te computer program that evauluates your in class essays is based on a 6-point rubric" (6=A, 5=B, 4=C, 3=D, 1 and 2=F.)
Computer evaluated essays: Average score x10 (probably have an A or high B on these)
Midterm: Score x5 (me = 26/75, doh)
Final: Score x5 (me = 0/? ? :frown
JOurnal: Score x5 (?/? ... I got about 41 pages of the 75 that were expected done though, but he only a week ago mentioned that there were supposed to be that many pages, we turned it in monday)
Right now im sick, tired, fed up with people, tired, and feeling like a mac truck is sitting on me. Out of 4 classes, Math(dropped), Physics(dropped), English, and Welding, I only have a chance at one of them. Guess which? Nah its not English, thats for damn sure.
So at this point im contemplating whether or not it is worth waking up in less than 6.5 hours to get my ready and go to school, better just to stay home and sleep way in or to not set my alarm clock and if i wake up "damn, might as well go, probably couldnt get back to sleep anyway". Hmm THey all have pros and cons
If i dont go though 'friend' would wonder what the hell happened to me (or know what happened and just not give a flying fk) and probably wouldnt go finals day eitehr when we get all our crap back (all he has of my stuff is a good binder full of useless paper with my journals though) that I would have to ask 'friend' some time to pick up for me that day...guh, dont want to talk to anybody, i might just go to avoid that! :Q Well fortunatley for you i cant think of much more to say if you got this far anyway before posting and telling me how much of an irresponsible piece of sh1t i am, but I dont care anyways...[/rant]
Merry Xmas
