Engines that have a lot of untapped potential (whether with boost or otherwise)?

The enormous Rolls-Royce Griffon that powered the better models of the Spitfire in WWII.

I bet a car built with that would own any little ricers in the world . . .

The 4 banger under the good of a 1989 Chrysler Turbo minivan. 11-12 sec quarter with relatively minimal modification. IN A MINIVAN. Not too bad stock either (The way I roll mine, minus the electrical mods required for a carputer)

a 454 with 32 valves is awesome! I know they made 32 valve heads for a 350, a 454 would be cooler than sh!t.
