i'm a Junior at a local state university and was looking at the course catalog for types of classes that lay ahead. my question is, what kind of project would one design IN PARTICULAR in a course like the one listed below? i mean, i've heard of teams getting together to create electric cars n whatnot, but it took many semesters and etc... it's lays a few semesters ahead and just figured i'd get the juices flowing early :)

tnx for any comments...

that description is really vague

For my senior design project (EE) my team of three designed a knee brace that is used to monitor recovery in physical therapy patients. It used an EMG detector to measure muscular activity as well as a 3-axis accelerometer to measure knee extension and similar performance. It could communicate with a PC via a Bluetooth interface so that results could be monitored and recorded.

it really depends on your major and your advisor. since it's most likely an 'independent study research' type of thing, most of the influence will be from your advisor. usually he or she will look at your whole coursework, ask you your interest, and most of the time will hook you up with a part of one of his or her current projects that needs to get done.

I just finished 2nd year and I already know what I want to do for my design project. I also have this rather crazy idea of that forming a startup to pursue the idea after grad...then swifly conquering and revolutionizing the world. :D
