Time to start the college hunt. So far, NC State is the only school in NC i have found that offers Computer Engineering. Unfortunantly, the counselors at my school are pretty awful. Does anyone know of any more four year universities in nc that have a computer engineering program?

Thanks for the help.

what do you want to do for your job? A lot of people have the wrong impression about what a computer engineer does.

Both UNC and Duke have CE. It took 5 minutes to find that on their websites. I'm sure several others do as well, but you should be able to do that research on your own (at least if you have any chance of succesfully completing an engineering degree).

Where on any of UNC's campus's websites did you find computer engineering? they have computer science, but not computer engineering. at least as far as i can find.

as far as what i would ultimatly like to do....hardware design/engineering. preferably graphics systems (video cards).

edit: found computer engineering buried in the course catalog on the UNC Charlotte site. trying to find more details on it atm...

Duke has a pretty good program.

Other than that NC State is solid. I would personally put UNC after both of those.

(Strictly speaking of schools in NC that is)
