Engineer for MVRP (Most Valuable Race Participant)

This was actually initiated by our friend MgKnight of DSLR.

I say that we officially make Engineer the Team Anandtech vs DLSR Team Starfire Race Most Valuable Race Participant. And force him to make a speech accepting the honor.


Engineer was the driving force in the recruiting process, which brought many new members to Team Anandtech. While we might have been able to squeeze out a victory with out all of the new members, the outcome would have definately been much closer, and, I hate to say it, could have been a Team Anandtech loss. He also worked through several problems with his connection in order to maintain one of Team Anandtech's public Queues. He also kept the interest in SETI high through out the race and never let us forget to visit the other forums and make it known that the DC forum exists. These are but some of the many reason Engineer deserves MVRP.


Great job in motivating the TeAm, Engineer. IMO, you deserve this.

Well...all I've got to say is there is no "I" in TeAm! It took a TeAm effort to pull this off...from all those who worked so hard to answer or track down answers to questions to those who tirelessly welcomed new members....to those great statskeepers and race trackers (even the innter TeAm races...i.e. OD ).....We've got a cast of TeAmmates second to none!

I would nominate iXCRA as the best recruiter...just look through the recruiting threads......talk about tireless! :Q

I want to thank and welcome (again) all the new, energetic teammates that have joined....not only for the race...but have grown to enjoy the TeAm for what is is...and have helped to shape it for the future....

I know I've been absent lately...life has me in one of those moments again..and I'm sorry for that.......but to you, the TeAm....I say "Thank You" and WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be on a short break....gotta get life back in order...and I'll jump back in when it's just right....

I like the 2 choices Engineer was insane in driving our recruting efforts. The man is a God!

With all due respect, I'd have give equal credit to Engineer AND Baldy18.

Engineer did without a doubt pump up the TeAm and keep us moving in the right direction; Baldy18 helped keep things fair(for both sides) and acted as the Ambassador to DSLR with undoubtedly alot of groundwork needing to be laid to get everything ready.

Therefore, I can only support a dual MVRP title for Engineer and Baldy18.

I think IndyJaws deserves an honorable mention for his awesome cultivation, along with every other member of the TeAm

Oh yeah, dont forget smokeball...for his excellent efforts of welcoming members to the team, I know when I joined up I really liked the personal attention I received... he's definately an asset to the team.
And also.. OrangeKid.. for his dedication to providing the team setiqueue, without which, many machines would have been dead in the water.

How can we pinpoint it down to one person? Without just one person this whole race would have been different.
