I got a PM from him too. It seems that DSLr did not like the globe ( the SETI sign ) in the TeAm members posting over there, so instead of starting a post, he just PM'ed like 40 people 🙂

The globe is activated when you answer the "seti" questions for your profile. Then it puts a glove under your avatar, so that everyone in the forums can tell you are part of the team. They just don't want TeAm members to have it 🙂 Bastages 🙂
 
smokeball, on dslr's forum.... if you are a member of dslr's seti team (or crunch atleast 1 work unit for em) you get to have that spinning globe under your name when you post messages....
I personally think all those spinny things are annoying 😛
only thing I like is that in their sigs they can have their up-to-the-minute seti wu and cpu time count

but the globe is lame

oh yeah, their ms. seti looks like trailer trash 😉

it was weird... there were 3 Big XII schools in the top 10 in basketball. we don't play basketball. except kansas, who doesn't play football.

crazee we were all tryin to get him to post his 6000th post has a nef... he just started changing topics on his current threads, editing his posts, PMing, etc to communicate with us 😛
