Engenius\Ubiquiti AP Reliability?

Hello, all!

I am currently working at a low-budget mission school outside the US.

When I arrived, the two outdoor access points (both EOC2611P access points) didn't work. I determined it was an issue with the PoE injectors' power supply, and ordered a replacement... It arrived, and both will broadcast their networks, but are receiving no connection (I'm fairly certain the problem is in the APs, since I can climb up on the roof and directly connect my laptop (with the PoE injector's power supply disconnected) with the ethernet cable that goes into the AP, and can browse the internet up there.

Anyway, I am currently looking for replacements for them. They both use external directional antennas, since the clients are some distance away, so have the connection on the AP for an antenna is required.

I am currently looking at Engenius and Ubiquiti... The problem is, is that it sounds like they have issues with dying after a year or so (at least for older versions). The conditions here are quite hot, with high humidity and very frequent rain (I've been here for about a month, and there has seldom been a day that it has not rained at least once), so this is a concern for me. Are the newer ones made any better to withstand the elements?

Thanks!

EDIT: So at this point it looks like it's between the Engenius ENH200EXT, and Ubiquiti's Picostation M or Bullet M (however, it sounds like the Bullet M's aren't good for outdoors...). Has anyone had good/bad experiences with any/all of the aforementioned models?
