Anyone have an egagement party? For those of you who have, what did the groom to be announce to everyone regarding his proposal for the bride to be's hand in marriage?
 
yeah, we had one for my friends, one for my parents' friends in florida, and one for my husband's parents in pennsylvania. my husband didn't say anything at any of the three (he's a shy kind of guy). my roommate made a toast for us though at ours and our fathers spoke at the parties.
