Manually copying music over? If you have say a 60gb library with thousands of songs how long is it going to take you to find stuff to copy over?

It's extremely complicated. Most Ivy Leagues don't even offer it as a Masters degree, only Doctorals.

Obviously it is since you had to make a whole other thread just to teach people how to use it. If it was so intuitive and easy to use, you wouldn't have to do that.

I think Engadget has a point, but I can also see them generating a ton of pageviews with the editorial.

That article/editorial has 1700 comments, that's almost a factor of 10X more than every other post on Engadget today added together.

I'm curious how Apple's cloud based service will work, hopefully it's better than using iTunes.

Would you like to enroll in Drag and Drop university? It would help you with your intuition. Clicking, dragging, and dropping a file or folder into virtually any area of iTunes is a vital instinct to hone for survival in a civilized society.

Once you master this critical ability, you may find yourself dragging and dropping many other things. For example, files or folders into the Trash Can (Recycle Bin). It's possible you may leap to the next level of dragging and rearranging icons on your desktop, though this is an advanced technique not recommended for beginners.

Exactly, you post just to troll, not to help people or even discuss the topic at hand.

For my library, it's about three seconds for a single song. It took me about two minutes to copy over my favorite songs to my phone... File folders they come in handy.

Only if we make an Android sub-forum and confine all the Apple haters to that forum. If you really don't like his message, you can always filter it out.

With that said, and with all due respect, Zen0 you need to learn some tact. Sometimes it's not the message but how it is delivered.

Word. The Phandroids on this forum are a pretty rabid bunch. We don't need someone to give more ammo for the frothing anger/nerd rage of the phandroids.

I would be thrilled if there was an Android sub-forum and Apple trolls were forced to stay out of Android threads, but there's not, there's only an Apple sub-forum. Is it too much to ask that Apple trolls stay there? What's the point of an "All things Apple" sub forum if you're just going to fill up GG&P with this crap?

Edit - Ok I just read the rest of Zen0's posts in this thread and cheezy isn't quite as close as I thought. Zen0 your schtick was funny at first but it's getting kind of old.

Please tell me that you two can see the difference between normal fanboys that aren't too annoying, and obvious trolls like Zen0? Cheezy is approaching that territory. Cheezy if you can't understand why you're starting to get lumped into the same group as Zen0 I suggest you re-read the post I just quoted.

iTunes took me 2 hours to learn, and now I can do things in it no other program can. I just leave it open (I can spare the 120 or so megs of memory it uses) if I want to drag n drop I can, I also get the best smart playlists capabilities hands down. People complain the programs slow, but what I do in iTunes I do faster than any other program can. I've tried every program and for my syncing I keep coming back to iTunes. It's kind of ironic the 1 semi decent program I can find to sync my Droid is a crummy iTunes ripoff called Double Twist.

think of it in reverse - Its not that one doesnt have a fair bit of music; it's that one's iphone/ipod could be pretty much filled with stuff already & would like to pick a bit more judiciously.

I just want about a 4-5 GB mix of music so I can rotate through while working out, but apple seems to think it knows best how to choose for me

Find stuff? My music happens to reside in a Music folder, makes finding stuff take I think... 2 clicks to open the folder.

Lol there is one person in this thread who has basically developed a pattern of being the most blatant Apple troll I've read in quite awhile. It's pretty hilarious.

0 seconds (not counting transfer time) because i copy it all over

even if i don't copy it all over (i cant) because no one makes a large enough mp3 player anymore. I bet it takes me no longer to find a specific song/album and copy it over then it does someone to find the song in itunes and sync it or whatever. assuming same size lib of songs

Everyone is always so angry in this section, it makes me sad.

Also... I tried using Itunes again to fix my music collection... yeah didn't help :\

It appears to be broken beyond repair.

Finally. Anyone can screw up or have an odd/bad experience with ANY piece of technology out there. It happens all day every day to people. Its not confined to any one device or OS.

Does Zen0 work for apple or own a ton of stock? I don't see why anyone would spend so much time "selling" a product they generate no income from...

Find multiple android threads that I go into and crap on. For the most part, I stay away from posting in them at all. The only time I am posting in them is if there is truly a phone that I find interesting. I stay out of the majority of android related threads. Check it out for yourself.

If you read what I posted correctly, I told zen0 to cool it down. We don't need more ammo for the rowdy android bunch to shove down every apple fans throat. There is a large majority in this sub-forum that are just frothing at the mouth to post some sort of diss on apple. Zen0 is making it that much easier for them.

There are usually 5+ people who come into every apple related post and thread crap. This is as reliable as the sun coming up every single day. Happens every single time. Like clockwork. You cant say the same for every android thread.
