it probably performs the same as a lower rpm magma fan, and those perform pretty well imo. im using a bunch of magmas and they move a ton of air for the noise they produce, with pretty good static pressure. gentile typhoons are better honestly, but the magma's can be had for cheaper, and since we sell them @ frys i get them at margin which only makes them more enticing. can get 2 magmas for the price of one GT ordering it online. all of enermax's fans that use their twister bearing tech are pretty good all in all. im using a couple of their apollish fans as well (the ones with the temperature based control), but the box they're in produces so much heat that they always run 100% anyway, so im planning to swap the 2 stock fans for the apollish, and replace the spots they're in with magmas. i probably have about 20 magmas in use right now all in all haha

Cool, thanks for the info! What makes you think the Gentle Typhoons are better? For those, I see:
37CFM for 16dBA = ratio 2.3
28CFM for 9dBA = ratio 3.1

At least on paper, they don't look as good as the Enermax 42CFM for 11dBA, ratio of 3.8.

The paper stats for fans mean pretty much nothing since there isn't any set way that they measure the CFM and dBA. Also, the amount of static pressure the fan produces can have a major impact if there's anything to impede the airflow.
