Thanks for the post dude.

dude, i just stumbled upon them ... couldn't believe it when I saw it ... can't wait to rub up against two 950's 😀

No need to apologize, JAG87, just edit it out or replace it with a F*$# or similar... No need to start any more on the road to dissolution.

what do u need 1000 watts to power? i'm seriously wondering.

and for those who are CONSIDERING a 1000watt psu, what are you going to power with it

Overclocked Core i7, 3-way SLI, 6 hard drives, quite a bit of fans, and whatever else comes out from now until 2013. That's how far I see the Revolution85+ lasting.

I've had the Galaxy since 2006 and while it's still perfectly up to the task (it even has dual 8 pin CPU), it's starting to lack on the PCI-e side. Only 2x 8pin and 4x 6pin.

By rule I don't use any molex adapters, as those put strain on other rails. Hence a new PSU is needed. 8x 8/6pin plugs should last a looooong while.

I too am looking at getting this PS, with i7, 2-Burners, 6 Ultra 320 SCSI HD's and 7 fans and I would like to figure out a way to charge my cell phone from it too. Can anybody help with that? I do have some of the old Antec ATX PS but could not find the correct 12V circuit and or a way to switch the PS on when needed.

Provantage 275.00 but still looking

Thanks, JASTECH
