I have a 350w Enermax, and it has the 80mm fan at the back and a 92mm fan underneath, but it also has a grill that faces into the case, opposite the 80mm intake.
I have found that hot air exits here, as it is pushed through by the 92mm fan. I know the 80mm is supposed to exhaust this dependant on temps, but it does not seem to speed up enough.
I put a cover over the grill and the 80mm fan sped up, indicating that the temp sensor was not picking up the actual temp of the PSU properly. I have now put in a blow hole at the top, just after the grill to expel air from the hot spot, but this is just fighting this hot air.
Anyone else had issues with these PSU's and hot air?
