Enermax Powersupply little Black Thingy

There is a white wire with a black looking diode on the enermax powersupply.. I think its to tell the power supply to turn the fan on. My question is what to do with it.. hang in the case or tuck it near power supply? Never had a quality powersupply before

It's just a sensor for the power supply. The speed of the fans on the power supply speed up if the temperature as reported by that sensor goes up and vice versa. I didn't really put mine anywhere special. I just hung it down right over the motherboard. That way if that area heats up, the fans speed up and get rid of the air.
