My ENERMAX EG365P-VE has two fans (as you know) But I the bodem one spinns very slowly. It says that his has a temp gage or something so when it gets hot it spins faster but i'm at 55C and I would like it to spin faster, to keep my cpu cooler.
Any sugestions?
p.s. my Fan speed monitor is not working on my MOBO, I have a MSI KT266 Pro-R Tbird 1.55 @ 9.5 *164FSB
Thanks for your time, Angelo

Maybe it is not the Enermax but your heat sink/fan that keeps you at 55 C. What is your case temp? I don't think the inside of your case is at 55 C.

Yes, it's hot in there under a full load...CPU is 55C, case is 54C
So is there any way to get it to spin faster?

54 C for a case temp can't possibly be correct. That is 129 F. Do me a favor and run the PC with the sides off and maybe a fan blowing towards it, if the case temp stays high, it means you are reading the wrong probe or the probe is completly wacko.

If your case temp is that high I would put in some quiet case fans to get the heat out. The quiet power supplies are not designed to cool a loaded case all by themselves.

Are you using Mother Board Monitor for your temps? It is a great little program.

It's possible. I put my two 80's on my Lian Li at the lowest speed and i was running about 55-60C. Yes it's true. Then I turned it on full blast and it dropped by 50%. Now they are lingering around 32/33C
