Enermax Power Supply.............

I just ordered an Enermax PS EG365P-VE(FC) for my system with an ASUS P3B-F mobo. This PS has the fan control function built in. I have a plug on the mobo for the power supply fan that I have never used with my Sparkle PS and I assume this is where I need to plug in the PS fan. My question is whether or not PS fan on/off is supported by this mobo? Exactly how does this function work? Is case heat sensed by the thermal control sensor which in turns the fan on and off??
