Does it matter if I get the 350 or 430 watt power supply??? I don't run a large number of ide or usb devices and my 350watt sparkle has always done fine...
However recently I am concerned about its rather fluctuating performance onmy oc of my 1.8a northwood...I feel it is my limitation of only being able to get to 2.4 now stable...Above this speed I need volatge increase yet I get even more of a swing and drop in volatge recorded when running full...I saw a 1.6v recorded while running prime yet I had it set to 1.7v...
I guess what I need is a good supplier of continous power on the 12v rail...Does noth the 350 and 430 offer same quality??? Or is one so much better then the other in terms of quality??? I know quantity is a different matter so don't pick one because of that alone. There are 400watt ps's that can't run some processors while 250 gneric can...I know!!!
I am looking for quality power supplier for my oc of my pentium 4 1.8aghz...I have set it to 1.65v at 2.4ghz but it generally fluctuates at 1.62v-1.64v at 2.45ghz I have to bump it up to 1.675v and I see 1.6-1.68v...I think this is the reason it will usually fail prime within 3 hour period...
