I feel like a complete moron for asking this, but I was wondering what the 'healthy' fan reading for an Enermax 500W Liberty PSU is? I know the unit has only 1 fan (my guess to exhaust air from the case through the PSU and through the back of the PSU) nad it's for quieter operations, but since this is my first 'silent' PSU the readings I am getting from the PSU through my boards health monitoring is throwing me for a loop (and apparently the system health for a loop as well, since it wants to report a failed, or caution on the PSU fan).
The reading I am getting for the PSU (through BIOS, and through Asus Probe 2, and Speedfan 4.27) is 940/950 RPM. Trying to diagnose some heat issues and it appers that this might be the source of most of my problems. My configuration follows below;
Asus A8N SLI 32 MB
2 gb Corsair Twinx2048-3200 C2PT
AMD 3800+ X2 (XP90C w/ Panaflo 92m)
XFX 7800GT
2 x SATA(1) drives
Lian Li PC 65B
Room tmp / 24 c
MB tmp / 41 c (idle)
CPU tmp / 41 c (idle)
PSU tmp / 52 c
Hopefully this is expected beahvior for the PSU, because it's not even 2 months old..
Thanks for any assistance that anyone might be able to provide
