Hi guys! Just join the forum but I am an avid visitor of this forum. Bought my PS 4 months ago. After 2 weeks of running it, it's starting to make this annoying clicking noise. I am VERY sure it's coming from my PSU.

Have tried using an object to stop the fan from spinning but still making the same noise. What could that noise be coming from? Should I be overly concerned about it? Btw, my system is running 100% fine. No crashes, random reboot etc.... Just that annoying clicking sound. Anyone in this community had any such experience with a PSU?

Ouch. I very nearly went with that PSU because of its modular cabling and its relatively compact size.

I've read about the problems with this particular PSU in many forums, only after I bought it. Thought me a lesson that I should do some basic research before buying any hardware. It's too late for me to do anything now but live with it at the moment.

My question is more towards what could the clicking or ticking sound be coming from the PSU and should I be overly concerned about it?

Any clicking i can think of would come from something rubbing against a fan. Nothing else in the PSU should produce a clicking sound.
