So-Trick has 80, 92, and 120mm Enermax Manual Speed Fans or whatever.
Plycon only has the 80mm, but they also have these fans with clear blades, that look VERY VERY similar to enermax fans.
I'm wondering if the Enermax fans are any good, the color is cool, and the adjustableness is handy, but what about performance? Enermax's site is down so I can't find specs on any of them, however Pylcon has some for the 80mm.
The 80mm, in in slowest setting, pushes more air as is as quiet as a LA1, good. Also it it's highest setting its specs are similar to a sunon fan shown on the page. So that makes the Enermax fans look good.
However those "Ultra-Clear" clear fans Pylcon seem to be exactly the same as the Enermax maunal controlled fans, just without the manual crontrol.
The 92mm clear fan's specs are 27dba/33.5cfm. Panaflo LA1, 27dba/42.7cfm.... uh.
I doubt any fan specs are 100% accurate, but I can't decide between Panaflows and Enermaxs. Comparing 80mmEnermax to 80mmPanaflo, the Enermax is better. Comparing 92 to 92 the Panaflo is much nicer. ??
Another question about the Enermax... when you design a fan, doesn't some design go into the fan blade's pitch vs the rpm its spun at? The Enermax's fan blades pitch is fixed and the rpm varies... so wouldn't somewhere the blade be at a bad angle for that rpm?
The Enermax fans look neato, but they seem to be shltty fans :/ Better to just get Panaflo's and a rheostat??
