Looking at getting a couple Enermax Fan II and an Enermax HD fan also. Any of you had this combo? I dont want to get something real loud but want good air flow. Let me know what you all know about these fans. I found a set of 2 case fans and a HD fan for about $15 think it would serve my Antec SX1040B very nicely and that seems to be a great price. Let me know what you think please.

Thanks

I have an enermax 80mm fan and also a 92 mm fan (both the kind with clear fins and variable speed) and they're dead silent on the low setting and fairly loud on the high setting (which is HIGH - they move a lot of air).

For the most part, I like them a lot. I'd reccomend enermax fans.

It looks like the fan that they are selling is a thermal controlled unit, meaning that it will adjust itself when the temp goes up. Not bad if you don't mind the noise of the fan speeding up every so ofter. But if you want control. Check these out at sidewinder

I tried a couple of the Enermax 80mm purple, manually-adjustable fans in the front of my Antec 1040 case (have 2 L1 Panaflos in the back).

I turned the speed down so they were quiet and ran Prime95 on my box. Temps were 34C MoBo, 57C CPU (P4 1.8A OC'ed to 2.4Ghz, retail HSF).

Didn't seem real spectacular so I pulled out the Enermax fans and replaced 'em with 2 L1 Panaflos. They were noticably quieter and when I ran Prime95 again my MoBo temp went down to 27C and my CPU temp went down to 52C.

Needless to say I'm not overly impressed with the Enermax fans.
