Enermax fan controller

I have an Enermax UC-A5FATR2 fan/temp controller. It has the capacity to monitor six fans and has two temp probes. The readout shows the two temps and two fan speeds.
I love how I can watch temps go up and down as I use the computer. I'm not really a control freak, just like to see what's happening. The problem I have is that you can program an alarm for the four readouts (2 temps & 2 fans), but when you turn the computer off, the programing reverts back to the defaults. The temp defaults are 45°C, which is OK for regular stuff, but when I overclock and run burn-in, etc the alarms go off. Also, with the warmer weather, the temps are a bit higher and the alarms have gone off a time or two with normal computing. Anybody have one of these and know how to get around this problem (other than leaving it on all the time)?

The chances are that your fan/temp controller doesnt have any non-volitile memory to store your new settings, just a basic rom chip to store its basic information on, so i think that apart from keeping the system powered up, your a bit buggered. Check the manuel, or the Enermax Website for details on it, just to be sure.
