It has an adjustable noise control & double fan. I'm going to buy this power supply but I don't know about the quality & stability of this one.
Is anyone have an experience with this power supply?
Thank you!

Enermax is a very reliable company when it comes to power supplies... search for some reviews on the web and you'll not be dissapointed... this particular model is so far gotten great reviews... don't have to take my word for it... look it up yourself... ( I sound like the guy from Reading Rainbow)... hehe...

You tell 'em Lavar Burton!

That power supply is quite a nice one. There are some complaints that the 350 watt version doesn't supply enough amperage to the +5V channel (the most important) at only 32A (max). Specifically, one review site I read stated that he wouldn't even look at a power supply that isn't rated at at least 36A (max). However, your 431 watt version easily surpasses this at 44A (max). I personally have the EG465AX-VE(W) FCA, which is a nice dark blue (the reason I chose that one), and can't possibly complain. I usually reach back and turn the fan up if I'm going to REALLY be stressing my computer, but otherwise I only hear my hard drives (5 IDE hard drives are kinda loud, I'll admit). That's at least one stat that you can look at for some comfort in your decision.

Take a look for yourself at the ratings here.

I had a problem with this power supply, kept on giving me Vcore underflows. I sent it back and I should have a new one tomorrow, hopefully with no problems. I know it was a bad power supply because I switched it out with my Codegen 300W power supply and I had no more stability problems. Hopefully I wont have any problems with my new one. I've heard from some people that quality of Enermax power supplies have gone down recently, I would have switched mine for a different brand, but the store I ordered it from didnt carry other brands.

Personally I would go with Antec, TTGI, or one of those new Vantec power supplies. Thermaltake also started selling power supplies recently, I've only seen a handful of reviews so far though.

I have the 350 watt version and it works great. In my opinion Enermax and Antec make the best power supllies.

I got the 550 watt Enermax. No, I didnt order a 550 watt - it was in a box that was mislabeled.

Anyway, the +5 volt line is underpowered on mine. I got a 1.6 @ 1.8
The +5 volt line reads about 4.8 most of the time. It has gone as low as 4.6 and managed to stay on. Also the +12 volt line pretty much stays at 11.9 (not a big deal). Oddly, the 3 volt line is a little over powered at 3.2.

The Enermax series has had some issues with underpower on the +5 volt line (when overclocking). There is mod to fix this, but it isnt easy. Involves lots of soldering on the mobo. The issue has something to do withthe PSU using the same source for the +5 and +12 volt lines (or something like that).

Thank you very much for your replies & informations. It seems like this power supply is reliable enough since most of you consider it as a good quality product.

I'll buy it tomorrow :)
Thanks!

Ok, so an enermax.

My store sells the EG465AX-VE (W) FCA
Anyone knows the difference between this one and the EG465P-VE ????
both are 431W and adjustable fan speed
As far as I know the only difference is that the first has active pfc, but I don`t know what that is.
?????????????????????
