I'm looking to get a decent PSU, and I saw this at newegg for about $50. Now i'm curious, how many 4 pin cables does this have? (for disk drives and the like?) I looked at their site and it said 8+2 outputs . . .what is 8+2? Does it include floppy drive outputs? Mobo output? what? Anyone who has this PSU, or has seen one, PLease let me know!

I have one, but it's in a case that I can't easily get into. My recollection is that it has 8 Molex connectors (one strand with 4 plus 2 strands with 2 that each have a floppy connector also, the ATX mobo connector and a P4 connector.

I have 3 hard drives, DVD & CD-R/RW, and also have a four pin connected to case fans. Two floppy connectors, 1 Aux, and +12v. With all that if I remember correctly there were two more 4pins left, which I can use. Oh, and one 3 pin fan monitor connector for the adjustible fan.

Hoho, an Enermax is like the Mercedes Benz of PSUs, it's one of the best. 8+2 means you have eight 4-pin (aka molex) connectors, and two floppy drive connectors! So if you need three floppy drives running, you're out of luck :). Enermaxs also use gold plated connectors, and very very long wires. This sucker has so many cables, I had to wrap up the unused cables and stuff them in the top 5 1/4" drive bay; the DVD-ROM had to go in the second slot.
