Enermax CS-718B - What do you think?

I`d say it`s a great case with a great power supply but you can get cheaper with a antec slk 3000b and a seasonic psu.

Can you recommend a setup that's better than this that's cheaper for me? I like Antec and have been eyeing the Sonata but I was in awe when I saw this one. I'm open to suggestions. Here's my setup

MSI X800XL
MSI Neo4
AMD64 3000+
1GB 2x512 OCZ pc3200
80GB Hitachi SATA II
DVDR Drive
DVD Drive

slight oc at first and may move up later with better cooling. not the biggest importance right now.

solofly, this is identical to the Silverstone huh? I need to pay more attention to the Silversone cases from now on.

Those wind tunnel cases (sold under several labels) look cool but the air flow is all messed up.

In general in a tower case arrangement, cool air should be brought in low and exhausted high. Hmmm...
. Only one puny intake fan except for the wind tunnel. And only the wimpy (these days) PSU fan for exhaust. And the HD bays block the one space that another fan could go high on the back. Dumb!
. Then the hard drives mount vertically in the HD cage - and there is no arrangement for active cooling for the HDs. So, if you want maximum stability and longevity from your HDs, you will have to rig a fan for the HD cage. Putting a fan on the bottom blowing up would be the common sense plan, but that might interfere with an add-on card... If it were me, I'd mount the drives horizontally in two stacks and mount the fan at the rear as another exhaust. Just makes more sense.
. There are more oversights in there too. And LOTS of wasted space. Look for the reviews of the similar Silverstone TJ-06, the Aerocool "Spiral Galaxies" or I forget the name of the other one. The more critical of those reviews have other nits to pick - like the limited range of cpu socket locations, and HSF arrangements that can be supported w/o modding the wind tunnel.
. My Silverstone Berserker isn't super-great, but I think it beats out those wind-tunnel cases. (except for the 'gee whiz' factor). The Silverstone TJ-04 is a nice box too.
