This keyboard has gotten rave reviews all around. The only negative that all the critics have pointed out is that it's a little on the expensive side (can run from $50-70, $50 at Newegg right now). Currently being sold for $35, just for the weekend.

Enermax Aurora

Gah... I would've pulled the trigger if it came in black to match my black brushed aluminum V1100. oh well I'll keep my eye out for the black one thanks op.

Hey, what aluminum keyboards do you guys know of that have aluminum keys? Asking this out of pure curiosity, since I don't know of any aluminum keyboards outside of the Hiper Clavier, Enermax Aurora, and a Thermaltake one... and I believe they all have plastic keys.

Don't worry about reseller ratings. Central Computers is trustworthy, they've been around forever.

I wanted a black version this keyboard but didn't want to spend $70. No one ever wants silver.

Hmm... very tempting actually. I love my Logitech UltraX slim keyboard, but it's not aluminum 🙂

As do I, the thin keys are the hotness. Since logitech decided to discontinue the UltraX series, they no longer produce a standard layout scissor key setup. I'll keep this in mind if my UltraX decides to expire.

I know! I looked at Newegg and the UltraX is all messed up with the "L" Enter key and whatnot. Booo! If mine ever craps out I'll keep these in mind as well... I love standard key setups 🙂

They declined all 4 of my credit cards. Too bad, because I want a keyboard. operantly their billing system is jacked right now./

How do these compare to an IBM clicky in terms of tactile feel and feedback?

looks like it would be completely different , it looks like a laptop keyboard.

my main machine at my office is actually a laptop so that can be a good or bad thing.

I have a model M, and I have an UltraX ("scissor" key technology - aka laptop keys). I can type much faster with laptop keys than I can with the model M, just because I'm used to them.

Completely different feeling though.
