Hi there
Does anyone with experience know if these monsters are any loud or are they silent as they claim them to be?
Im talking about the 431W PSU!

One thing for sure they are goin to be louder than a 300W one...due to the fact that more energy has to be disspated...and therfore larger faster turning fans..

INCORRECT!!! I have 2 Enermax 300W's and 1 Enermax 431W. The 431W is one of the quietest power supplies I have used. The 300W's OTOH are extremely loud.
 
My recently toasted 431watter was pretty quiet, until the 92mm fan kicked in at full tilt. At defaut voltage, all the fans are quiet, but if your system temps go "overboard," then it'll juice them up, making them unbearably loud. But i had the older model, without the rpm wheel in the back of the unit, so the newer ones should be at your command 🙂
