well- peeps that have probs with the PSU--99% of the time is caused by defective PSU or mobo. You gotta understand almost all of our computer components are made in Taiwan in massive quantities--but they are sort of lacking in the quality control department.

I hope your negotiations go well... I just got one for $81 shipped... but now they're down to $74... time for a pricematch maybe... I've heard of problems with the 5v rail on these PS', but talking to people who know more about it than I do, they thought the probs were more the mobo's fault?

All of my computer components made in Taiwan are fine:

ASUS MoBo and Vid card
Enermax 431 watt PS
other stuff most likely

I don't think the quality control standards are any lower in Taiwan then they are the US. Ask people who bought one (or four) of the 47 million recalled Firestone tires manufactured in Decatur Ill.

I`m using the Enermax 431w on my Epox 8KHA+ and getting good 4.98-4.99v on the 5v rail I too heard of the same problems but it turned out fine on my board :).

I have the Ennermax in use with my Iwill kk266r board and no problems. I ordered the Epox 8kha+ so I pray for no problems. If problems turn up I will order a new psu and stick the Ennermax in another system I am currently building. I wish everyone here the best with the 431 Watt.
