Enermax 350W PSU enough?

dxkj

Lifer
3.5v + 5v = 185 Max

rated 350W

I want to use it on a system with an AMD 1700 xp and Crucial DDR pc2100 ram on an Asus (whatever the number is for the good overclocking board😛) with an ATI Radeon 9000 or 9500 pro

please let me know if this will be ok, would rather spend the extra 50 dollars on a new PS elsewhere

I think it is enough, but it really takes you finding out....Either way I would try your 350watt now before you unnecessarily spend more money on something you may not even need...I had a 350watt antec run my system and the enrmax is probably a bit better then it....

I ran

1.6@2.74ghz (1.71v)
Epox 4G4A+
512mb PC3000
Radeon AIW 8500DV
2X HDD
Pioneer 1x/2x DVD-r/-rw
Lite-on 16x48x Dvd-rom
3 fans
Creative Audigy
Multiple USB devices

Now if you plan on ocing the 9500pro and ocing the cpu (the xp1700+ back awhile ago were quite sweet for cranking them up to 2200+ levels with 1.85v.) maybe you may start having some issues but go ahead and try the 350watt first....

i'm running an enermax 350w on my rig and i have all voltages maxed out, plus i have every pci slot filled, cdrw, dvdrom, zip drive, 6 usb devices...and it's 100% stable!!
🙂

Same here..

My voltages are also maxed out. 1800+ tbred @ 1910mhz 1.75v (my mobo won't let me go higher than 1.75), i/o @ 3.65v, ram @ 1.85v and I have 4 HDDs, 2 Rom drives, 2 Ethernet cards, radeon 9500 pro and it's 100% stable

The enermax 350w model rocks. A Tomshardware (or whatever site it was) has reviewed that model and it actually performs up to 390w so it's underrated.

3.3V 5V 12V -5V -12V 5Vsb
32A 32A 17A 1A 1A 2.2A

those are the amp rating I beleive

Ok cool, glad I can stick with this puppy. I originally got it when I was running 8 IDE devices in my computer in addition to overclocking my 1.2ghz to 1.4ghz, just wasnt sure how much more juice the new procs took.

thanks

Yup

I've had Enermax 350W for a while before I switched to Antec 430W. I didn't switch because I didn't like the Enermax or anything like that, but my friend was selling it to me for REALLY cheap. So I jumped on it.

Surprisingly, the 5v rail on the Enermax 350W was more stable than my new Antec 430W. Both are very very good power supplies.

I had 16X DVD, 2 CCFLs, LED fans, 2 HD's, 5 fans when I had Enermax 350W and never ever I had any problems with it. You'll be fine.
