Energy Meds?

What's the story on medication that gives you energy? They bad for your health? They cost a lot? Do they even exist? What's a good brand?

I got chronic fatigue, and I want a lot more energy. I've heard energy drinks (red bull, monster, etc.) are bad for you. I've also heard crack is bad for you.

this post was made in 23 seconds!

edit: I have such low energy i posted in the wrong forum. Actually I wasn't even in general hardware so I'm not sure why it ended up here. It's the forums fault for sure. So, move it to OT i guess.

You lead a dull life then 😛

anyone wanna move this OT? Seriously, I haven't even been in General Hardware for like 2 weeks.

Just delete the content, change the title, and post it again in OT.

And yes, they're all bad for you to some degree. They're mostly caffeine and similar things. They make your heart beat faster, raise blood pressure, generally have negative effects all over. Chronically using them is very bad, and you can't even buy more than a certain amount in a store anymore, per day.

If you actually have chronic fatique syndrome, OTC meds like that aren't going to help. You need to look into treatment options. If you just feel tired all the time, look at the reasons for that. Not enough sleep? Stressed? Not eating right? Not exercising?

How about all 4? 😛, but the not exercising part is due to being tired all the time.

When you start exercising a little, you build stamina, release endorphins and other hormones, generally make yourself feel better overall, and would help to combat the fatigue increasingly as you start being more active.

I know the feeling of being tired all the time. I can pretty much sleep at any moment, and am lethargic most of the time. Some symptoms of depression are also sleeping excessively and being apathetic and lethargic. You definitely ought to start doing something, changing something, before taking uppers.
