For 8 bucks I should expect a better "hit" than that. For $3 I can get a triple-serving of Monster and be good to go.

Look at the caffeine content of the energy drinks. There are other ingredients, but it's hard to find a good one without caffeine: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy_drink

Hmm .... black coffee, extra strong in a giant cup + regular mountain dew = cheaper and just as effective. Also, coffee and mountain dew are both extremely tasty!

Rockstar + Vodka = best drink to get started drinking again, when nursing a hangover and headache from previous night. One of those around Noon (and Excedrin if real bad headache) on Sunday and I am good to go again.

I remember of hearing of some stuff called Sky Rocket or Pop Rocket something like that that had more kick than jolt does.
But I never could find it.

If I'm just taking it to stay awake, I skip the energy drinks and go straight for the caffeine pills. Same caffeine content for about 1/100th the cost.

Nothing like a hit of meth to start the day. I like Monster the best. Red Bull does nothing for me. I don't know why.
