I have an essay due for it and I was sick the day we watched the end of it in class. I haven't seen anything after Patton was in that building at night asking one soldier to pray for good weather so that they could have air cover

<< uh, did it never occur to you to RENT THE DAMN MOVIE? >>

1: Not even old enough to own a car to drive down to the nearest rental store
2: its 12 am right now
3: did it ever occur to you that Id prefer asking a few people a simple question instead of wasting time and money renting a movie, only to watch 1/10th of it?

Write an essay about a MOVIE???

No WONDER no one is learning factual history. The movie Patton leaves out a LOT of what he did in WWII, condenses other parts, and adds dramatic license to a lot of it.

The movie is entertainment based loosely on history, but it's NOT history.

George S. Patton is my great great uncle (or something to that effect.) --My mom's mom's mom's first cousin. My great grandmother's maiden name was Patton.

Just thought I'd share.

my class is 20th century history through film. That does NOT mean we learn our facts through movies. That means we learn the facts through textbooks, documentaries, etc. and then COMPARE the differences/similarities between the fact and the fiction that is the movie. can ANYONE give me the details of the movie after where i left off? thank you
thank you for sharing btw, designdawg
