I thought this was interesting and wanted to hear the opinions around here. I did not see a link posted posted yet, if this is a duplicate, sorry.

Endgadet's report on logged vista crashes.

The report has to be taken with a grain of salt since it does not give timeframes, or duplicate reports from the same computer. Still a very large chunk of errors reported by nivdia.

Do you think this is more of a vista/new OS issue, or a nvidia driver issue ? Nvidia did have a lot of driver issues at vista launch and with having "preformance crown" video cards for that generation, probably had a great many more cards in pcs. It would be interesting to see the number nvidia cards vs ati cards vs percent of problems.

What you have to consider about this is........

Nah, this has been discussed to death on this forum in the last week. Perhaps we should all buy S3 based cards, they have the fewest Vista driver errors.

I wonder if they have a focus group....

Delta Chrome 4-evah!

It's not a very exciting focus group. They can't afford to actually send us hardware, all we get are press releases and last year it was $5 in McDonald's gift certificates. Stick with NVIDIA, the swag is better.:p

* Edit, before anyone reads this the wrong way, it's a tongue-in-cheek post, it's not real
