Anyone heard of this?

It is a 'total conversion' mod, meaning that they don't just change stuff but they actually make an entirely new game out of the engine. It has a whole new world, new lore, new characters, new graphics, new music, and even new gameplay. The can achieve such a big thing because they have a large team of people working on it, they are all game developer professionals and they make it for free because it is a hobby and because it lets them showcase their abilities to employers in the games industry.

Anyway, they made a total conversion for Oblivion called Nehrim which was really really good... It had quests that imo are better than Oblivion itself, the world is great, it has a unique way to travel and the combat is much better. In fact I would say they did everything better, they basically made their own Elder Scrolls game better than Bethesda can make.

This time they are making one for Skyrim, and it has been in development for a few years already. At this point they have put in 24352 hours of development time! They say it will release 'when its ready' but judging by their progress chart, it seems pretty close!

it's related to Nehrim right? (Oblivion mod), that one was pretty good.

I imagine the OP made the account to advertise, but I don't mind it, looks like pretty great work. If I ever finish Skyrim, I'll definitely check it out.

No not an advertiser, just interested to play! I loved Nehrim. I still play Skyrim too, I didn't like it at first but I now have about 40 mods installed which changes a lot.

That Nehrim mod sounds familiar. I think I tried it and did not get very far. I have a better computer now, so I might try it again.

But this mod sounds interesting. I loved skyrim, but started a second playthrough and could not really get into it.

Yeah my issue with starting Skyrim again is that there is so much you have to do all over again. It is a big open world but it is quite linear, you have to do that same escape, that same dungeon to recover the claw and the first dragon shout thing, that same journey to the keep and then that same dragon kill etc. And I tried various character builds too so it means I've done all that 10 times now. There is a mod that lets you start the game differently which is useful, but a total conversion is even better :)

The thing I am the most excited about with Enderal is the new combat and playing as a Mage.

graphics in Elder Scrolls game is irrelevant. i spend the entirety of the game looking at the world with Night Vision.
