It's the end of my sophomore year at college! It feels sad :(
Now I have to go through the long, involved process of packing, and trying to walk around our room
in 3 months I'll be back, but still...

/end unnecessarily superfluous nostalgia

yup. quarter system. schoolyear starts around the end of september, had my last final earlier today

it is a dorm room; it's kinda small. Next year's will be bigger :) the good thing about our room this year was that it has a sloped ceiling, so it gets really high on one side, so it looks bigger than it really is

and yes I do get work done even with all this stuff. CS/Econ/electronics stuff

WTF? Why would you have that much computer hardware with you while you are in college? Do you not do any school work?

just hardworking. also trade options (as in , stock market type options). It is a 240T

Your room is a mess, and filled with great stuff. Must be tough having money.
If you decide to trash any of it, just drop me a pm.

I was just poking some fun ;) I'd kill for 3 monitors on my desk. I don't get laid often anyway so might as well have fun with computers :D

So you're in economics.

Ever consider that the fall of neoclassical economics is standing directly in front of you?

eh not sure about economics. I'm one of those the multitude of sophomores here who have no idea what they want to do for the rest of their college career. My options include: physics, math, CS, econ, english (creative writing), EE, architecture (@another school though since there isn't really an architecture program here), and who knows what else I can find.

why don't u just lend that 240T to me over the summer? I'll back back from college (Northwestern) on friday and I live about 15-20mins from Stanford. I'll keep it safe :D It can go next to my 191T that pales in comparison to the mighty 240T

Busted! The pic that ends in 6, you can see a Star Trek poster! Nah, I'm just messing with you. What are you Ferengi? Where did you get all that? Were you that campus thief I was hearing about? You know the trick to moving out? Start a month early and throw out everything you know you will never care about again. Posters, dumb stuff you stole from various places on campus (our Dining Svcs. department put a box in every dorm so you could give back plates and silverware), and other dumb trinkets. No sense going through life as a pack rat. If it pains you so much to part with it, either keep it or take pictures.

In the pic that ends in 5 you can see the Star Trek posters too... along with a couple of Star Trek models (Ent-A and Ent-E). Was that campus thief you heard about the one that managed to steal a plasma or apple cinema display from one of the libraries with the theft not being discovered until ~2 weeks after it happened? :)

Already returned all the plates/silverware we "borrowed" from the dining hall. The room's sorta cleaner now... NOT:)

I'm just finishing up my freshmen year right now. In fact, I should be packing to leave instead of posting. Oh well. It is going to feel weird leaving because it has been home for the last nine months. However, I think it is going to feel even stranger when I completely move out of the house in a year or so. I'll be in the dorms again next year, but after that I will probably move into an apartment.
